Journal of Trauma & Dissociation

Information about Book Reviews

The Journal of Trauma & Dissociation does not publish unsolicited book reviews but welcomes recommendations of recent books for book review. If you are a book author or editor and would like your book considered for review in JTD, please ask your publisher to send a copy of the book, along with a brief note that it is for review, to:

M. Rose Barlow, Ph.D.
JTD Associate Editor for Book Reviews
Department of Psychology, Boise State University
Education Building 6th Floor
1910 University Drive
Boise ID 83725-1715
USA

Please note that there are many relevant books published each year and we do not have space to review them all.

If you have read a relevant book and you would like to write a book review, or if you have an idea for a book you would like to see reviewed, please contact M. Rose Barlow by email at: rosebarlow@boisestate.edu.  We do not accept unsolicited reviews but we work with authors of reviews to create a review once the book is selected for review.  Book reviews are approximately 800 words long. Specific instructions for book review authors are provided by the Book Review Associate Editors.

We do not publish reviews that have appeared in other publications. Submission of a manuscript to the Journal of Trauma and Dissociation represents a certification on the part of the author(s) that it is original material, and that neither the manuscript nor a version of it has been published elsewhere, is not being considered for publication elsewhere, and has been approved by each author (fromhttp://www.isst-d.org/jtd/journal-trauma-dissociation-info-for-authors.htm).
